Yū Ōgami (大神 結, Oogami Yuu) is the deuteragonist of That Wolf-Boy Is Mine! manga, and the love interest of Komugi Kusunoki. Unlike his friends, Yū is not a pureblood animal that transforms into a human; rather he had a wolf father and a human mother. Yū is also the last wolf in Japan.
History[]
Prior to the start of the series, Yū‘s father died and his mother abandoned him in the Maruyama mountains. He was taken in by Kurō Yata and became friends with Rin Fushimi, Aoshi Awaji, and Senri Miyama.

Physical appearance[]
Yū has long messy black hair with fringe that covers his purple eyes and sharpened canine teeth. He is slightly above average height with an average build. Yū's school uniform consists of a white dress shirt with a green v-neck sweater over top and black dress pants. During the winter, Yū wears a black gakuran jacket over his typical outfit.
According to his mother Yuri, he has dark yellowish-brown for wolf fur just like his father.

- Father: Not much is known about Yū's father. He was a wolf that died from unknown circumstances either before Yū was born or sometime during his very early childhood.
- Yuri Ōgami: Yuri is Yū's mother. For a long time, Yū believed that his mother had simply abandoned him in the mountains when he was 5-years-old because she couldn't handle him. But as a teenager, he remembered that his mother was actually dying and had left him in the care of the ayakashi to ensure his survival.

- The name Yū means both "bonds" and "the end" (結).
- Yū's surname Ōgami means "big" (大) and "god" (神).
Trivia[]
- His favorite food is Kusuya udon, and least favorite is natto (fermented beans).
